Native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia, the Aegis is a statement plant that rewards attentive care with dramatic, fast-growing foliage. Care Guide

• Light: Bright indirect light; avoid harsh direct sun which can scorch the leaves
• Water: Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry between waterings; consistent moisture without waterlogging
• Humidity: Thrives in 60–80% humidity; use a humidifier or group with other plants
• Temperature: Ideal range 18–30°C; protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C
• Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix (perlite, orchid bark, coco coir)
• Fertiliser: Balanced liquid fertiliser fortnightly during the growing season
