My name is Melissa & my love for plants started long before The Rare Nugget was even an idea... Growing up, I spent many hours in the garden with my mum and nana learning how to care for plants and helping them with all the tedious work while watching them do their mastery! Those early memories shaped who I am today. Their patience, knowledge and love of growing things stayed with me.

I wasn’t much of a green thumb through my teenage and young adult years, but now I truly love what I do and I wouldn't want it any other way. Now, through The Rare Nugget, I get to share that same love and knowledge with others who appreciate the magic of bringing nature into their homes. Every plant I offer carries a piece of that journey... I hope you love them as much as me.
