Faucaria Tiger's Jaw

The Faucaria Tiger's Jaw (Faucaria tigrina) is one of the most characterful succulents you can own. Its chunky, triangular leaves are lined with soft, tooth-like serrations that give it the unmistakable appearance of a gaping jaw — fierce in looks, but completely harmless to touch. In autumn it rewards patient growers with bright golden-yellow daisy-like flowers that emerge dramatically from the centre of the rosette.

• Light: Full sun to bright indirect light; thrives on a sunny windowsill
• Water: Water thoroughly during the growing season (spring–autumn), then reduce significantly in winter — allow soil to dry completely between waterings
• Soil: Fast-draining succulent or cactus mix; excellent drainage is essential
• Temperature: Hardy to around 5°C; protect from frost
• Humidity: Prefers low humidity; avoid misting
• Pet-friendly: Non-toxic to cats and dogs
