Calathea Silver Plate

The Calathea Silver Plate (Calathea kleiana or Goeppertia sp.) is a striking and relatively uncommon Calathea variety, prized for its large, broadly oval leaves in a luminous silver-green — almost metallic in the right light. The subtle dark green feathering along the midrib adds depth and elegance, while the deep burgundy-purple undersides make every leaf movement a visual event. Like all prayer plants, it folds its leaves upward at dusk in a gentle, rhythmic display.
