With its striking upright stems and unusual texture, Senecio stapeliiformis — affectionately known as the Pickle Plant — is a true collector's gem. Native to the rocky outcrops of South Africa, this rare succulent produces cylindrical, mottled green stems with subtle purple striping that mimic the look of a cactus without the fierce spines.

Come summer, it rewards patient growers with vivid orange-red daisy-like blooms that add a dramatic pop of colour to any collection. Compact, architectural, and effortlessly cool — this is the plant that makes visitors stop and ask, "What is that?"
