Its slender, segmented stems tumble and trail in every direction, creating a lush, sculptural display that looks stunning in a hanging basket or elevated pot. Unlike desert cacti, this epiphytic beauty thrives in the warm, humid conditions of a home interior.

Low-maintenance and fast-growing, it rewards even the most casual plant parent with a cascade of delicate stems and, in season, tiny white flowers followed by small translucent berries. A truly unique addition to any collection.

Care Guide

• Light: Bright indirect light; avoid harsh direct sun which can scorch the stems
• Water: More frequent than desert cacti — water when the top inch of soil is dry; mist occasionally
• Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity; ideal for bathrooms or kitchens
• Soil: Well-draining mix with added perlite or orchid bark
• Temperature: Prefers 15–25°C; protect from cold draughts and frost
• Fertiliser: Light feed monthly during spring and summer
